I waited for a while before submitting my review. I've had my K20D for about 9 months now, and it's taken every bit of that to learn to use the camera. This being my first slr, it was quite a learning curve. I am very satisfied though after learning about it. Because there are no 'auto' settings such as landscape, portrait, ect. on this camera, it's been an adventure learning the manual settings. Clarity of my photos are excellent, although the flash leaves something to be desired, I highly recommend getting the AF540FGZ with it. I've moved from Olympus to Pentax, was looking at their similar model, but this camera proved to be better value for the same features. I don't regret my purchase at all.

Awesome camera, my first digital SLR. I began my photography career with a Pentax SLR, 35 mm film camera. I love being able to use all my lenses with this camera. The picture resolution is far better than I ever imagined possible with a digital camera. Use with studio strobes for very professional portraits.
