I'm just a casual photographer with this camera, but i'm learning and I love this product. I'm going to take some classes like photo 101 to learn more, however it takes great pictures. I got this camera as a birthday gift to myself and I love it.

I purchased my camera a little over a year ago, and am still learning about its functions. I did own a point and shoot digital before this but it did nothing to help me learn about using this camera. It was frustrating at first, but the more I learn the better I like it. It is a little heavy but no heavier than an old 35mm. The quality of the pictures are outstanding.

This is my workhorse camera! Despite it's weight, I hike and ,sometimes, kayak with it. I haven't had to use the dust removal function yet as dust doesn't collect on the sensor very easily because the camera is so well sealed. Built in image stabilization is a great thing too. I have not had much of a problem with white balance. Proper aperture and other adjustments lead to great shots no matter what camera you use. It would be nice if it were lighter. But, I have no complaints against my K200d

I used this camera mainly for landscape photography, and pictures are amazing! the only bad point is the weight, this camera is too heavy to be carried for a long time or to do good night shot without a tripod.

Unlike the previous reviewer, you must know how to use this camera in order to take excellent photos. If you are someone that does not know their way around a camera then I would recommend a Canon or a Nikon.
This camera is marketed as an entry level camera but is not really for the novice. This camera has loads of advanced features for its price range and is well constructed.

This camera has horrible auto white-balance. Nikon d80 blows it out of the water 100%!
