I bought this camera to carry in my purse instead of carrying around a camera bag all the time. This is great for work. I can pull it out when I want to capture a shot of something going on at the office or if I see something interesting on the way to and from work. It has lots of options for a small size and price. I believe I will get lots of enjoyment from using this camera. I highly recommend it for anyone who is an avid amateur photographer who hates carring a camera bag everywhere.

My first camera was a Penax K1000. Through the years I have upgraded and I have always found the Pentax brand to be reliable. The Optio M50 does not disappoint. Lightweight and very dependable, I can carry it in my purse.
