I like the quality of the pictures taken on the LDC. It is easy to zoom in and out to check how a cropped picture would look. I have used it to take my holiday card pictures. It has great features like fun boarders. My only complaint is that it is hard to hold and I am fearful of dropping it. The screen gets dirty very easily and it is hard to get clean.

This is the best compact camera for the price and especially for the optical zoom. It is hard to find a camera above 3 x optical zoom. The camera is impressively well made with a nice sliding lense cover. It takes little time to be ready for the next picture. It uses the regular sd card which is easy to find on sale. The only not so good thing is the special rechargable battery, you have to be sure to have a second charged on hand for you can not buy double A anywhere like many other cameras. The major plus is it is from a reliable camera maker. Love the camera!!

Great size for all its capabilities.The shutter release button is in a precarious position.It is easy to accidentally release when making adjustments.Its new i'm sure I will get the knack of it.

This is my fourth digital camra. I always look into flexibility in a small pacage. This Optio seems to have it all from 7x optical zoom to quick start - just slide the cover. Only feature missing is smile shutter that Sony has on their top of the line DST200 - hey for [$] less I can try to find the smile manually. ;)
