I lost my Panasonic TZ1 last month. Tried to use my Olympus FE300 instead but no comparison. So when I saw a good online price on the LZ8 I jumped at it. Great photos, but most important, user friendly controls. Could be smaller but with the 5x zoom the size is still less than a full pocket. Offers multiple scene choices. Overall a little less zoom than the TZ1 but more megapixels for fewer dollars.
