I take pictures of my greyhound indoors & outdoors.This camera is very user friendly & I did not even need to read my manual to work this wonderful camera. Great camera for the price.....

If you are looking to buy a camera go to the store. Take pictures. Test the Zoom. And actually take a picture of someone moving a bit. This will show you how quickly a camera will react and handle motion. This Camera reacts OK. Thsi camera handles very mild motion. But it is a small compact digital Camera. Great for pose shots, landscape shots, travel shots. Not great for action shot but NO small digital camera IS!. This had tons of Megapixels so if you want to blow up a Landcape shot or take all of your shots without using much zoom you can zoom in on the picture without sacrificing much clarity. The zoom on this camera is great and allows you take a picture of someone up close about 50 feet away. We picked it over the comparable Sony because it had longer zoom, took pictures faster, and the zoom mechanizm was more convenient. SO much better than a touch screen. NOT GREAT FOR ACTION SHOTS! But not Small digital is. It get a PERFECT because it is a fabulous small portable camera with as much power and ease of use as a small portable can offer! Tnx

It took a while to find someone who was selling it but that's just because it's so new but it was worth it. I love some of the newer features such as the 12 face finding and smile capture. It takes beautiful pictures with it's 12 megapixels and the video quality is actually pretty good. I've already used it to upload small snippets onto youtube. Nikon always puts out great products.
