Instrution/Operating Manual written in very small type and also in grey color and is hard to read for people of my age.
Need some kind of screen protection from finger prints.

We are the parties goer, domestic and international traveling. We love to capture the moment where/what-ever we seen. We have so many different type of digital compact cameras. The latest camera we purchased is the Nikon S60 - it's working right out of the box. NO setting up needed to do. ALL are in the Touch-screen, no movement mechanical rotating switchs or buttons to push - except the SHOT and power buttons.
Things are not so great about it is ... the battery life is kind of short for video recording - battery is out after 40 minutes.

of all of the cameras I think this one is the best with the easy touch point and shoot it provide great photos and the stabilizer is great if you move any at all. The camera will let you know who blinked on the picture. The compact camera is east to carry and it will allow you to zoom in or out at 5x very good for such a camera. I will tell you this small camera packs a big punch one I would recommend to anyone.

Slightly heavier and larger than my previous Coolpix S1. Large screen and touch controls great improvement and much easier to see than those on the S1. However, simetimes you have to tap a little too hard on them. Setting up is simpler and less confusing. Picture quality excellent.

I got the camera for christmas and I have used it nonstop since then. All of the scene settings are great and the fireworks setting was perfect for new years eve. The touchscreen is sensitive enough that you don't have to hit it and the camera takes wonderful pictures. I would definetly recommend this camera to anyone looking for a new camera.

this camera is amazing! i love how you can easily touch the screen and turn it to the side to get a better view of photos. although the camera can be fragile from the touch screen, it takes great, clear pictures! i also love how you can just charge the battery, instead of paying $3 for a pac of AA batteries.

I was so disappointed with this product, I sent it back. I have a Coolpix S51 so I thought the S60 would be a step up. Wrong! The picture quality on the 51 is much better than the 60. The 60 has more bells and whistles but not much else. Would not recomend this camera.

This camera is pretty cool. It has all the gadgets you would ever need. It takes great pictures and is pretty simple to use once you get the hang of it. The only problem I have is the short battery life. I was taking pictures in the middle of an important event and the battery died. I didn't think I had used it that much.

The camera is GREAT my only complaint is a 300 page instruction book........I really wish they would have a CD with "Showing" instructions. Its really a most impressive unit. I"ve had several, this is the best by far.
