I'm really like the Nikon digital SLR, this is the first time I use the small digital camera, but the Nikon S600 is make me so surprise, it fast and easy to use, the white balance is perfect, you can shooting a very good photo under very low light, I love it but it just little bit too small for me.

This is a great compact point and shoot camera. It has a lot of good presets which make it easy to take good quality photographs in a variety of environments. I was extremely impressed with its museum mode. Light, compact, and solid construction.

I bought this camera to replace a Casio Excilm which only lasted about a month beyond the warranty. I have an older 2.1 mp Nikon Coolpix and it still works great but is big and slow.
The S600 is fast and small. It takes great pictures most of the time. I am just an amatuer but I haven't had great luck with night shots unless I use a tripod or stay close enough for the flash.

This camera has been great! It is the best camera purchase I have ever made. My daughter enjoys the video recording on it. The pic are crisp & clear. The only gripe is it should have came with a case so that I don't scratch the LCD Screen. Very user friendly.

The product produced a lens error within a month of ownership - the day before a 2 week european trip. The camera will not open. How disappointing!! I spent the morning which we departed running around trying to find a reasonably priced comparable camera. I Just haven't had time to figure out the warranty info and how we can have it replced.[...]

This camera is great. I used to have the older CoolPix P2, which was also great, but this is sharper, shorter lag time and takes continuous shots for action photography.

Compact, yet very versatile. The pictures are crisp and clear- can't beat Nikon lenses. The auto mode is great, but all the options with manual and special lighting modes are easy to master. READ THE MANUAL!!

The great thing about this camera is that it is small enough to fit in my pocket but has "BIG" benefits and results. The photos are sharp and detailed. The zoom is more than adequate for quick closeups

I love NIKON. They come up with very cool electronics, this is by far the best one I've got. It is user friendly... very easy to use, easy to clean and has a strong body, and large LCD screen, you can also crop your pix shot right after you take it.

No one at any of the camera stores that I visited was able to address my concern that the S600 does not have a viewfinder. This is a problem with many LCD display cameras because it is almost impossible to see the image and compose a shot in bright sunlight. However, the S600 can increase screen brightness at the touch of a button, allowing use even in bright sunlight. Thought you would like to know.......

Love my new s600. Really thought with all the features I would need to take a class to be able to work the camera but it's actually very user friendly and precise. The best of all worlds: great size for carrying around in pocket, great opt zoom 4x, 10 Megapix, great solid construction. For the price it's a great choice. Really happy so far.
