Comments about Nikon Nikon Coolpix S640 Digital Camera (Black):

I was pretty hyped about this camera after seeing a few commercials and reading some descriptions about it. I just wanted a little point and shoot to carry with me instead of my Nikon D90. I'm disappointed to say that this camera certainly did not live up to my expectations. I hate giving bad reviews but this camera is one that I must shoot down for the sake of saving other people disappointment and a trip back to the store.

I got the camera and put the battery in and it turned on nicely. Right away I noticed all the finger prints I had left on it, which didn't bother me at first because I was so excited to use it. I tried focusing on the box it came in and it wouldn't focus at all. I tried another subject right in the center of the screen and it decided to focus on a totally different area, on something very insignificant. And it would not focus up to 2 cm or whatever the specifications were, which is what I was hyped about because I love doing macro.

The bottom line is that this little point and shoot was definitely not worth the price and did not live up to the expectations that I had for it.
Sorry Nikon~Happy Shooting (:
