This camera is absolutely wonderful for a snapshooter or beginner who enjoys having photographs of their everyday life. The controls are so simple, and you can master the camera within minutes. It has simple options and a "scene" mode to customize. Though it has an option of decreasing or increasing exposure on the auto mode, this camera doesn't really have any manual override options. You can't set your own aperture or shutter speed. I'm an amateur working on going pro, and I borrowed this camera from my sister. I have to say that I was able to take great quality pictures with this camera and I enjoyed using it.
