This is a great camera, low noise. What makes this such a great performer is the size of the sensor, it is the biggest in its class of camera. Do a search for findbesttech to see a one page write up on the best low noise pocket cameras. This is the best bargain in the list. Others good cameras are the Panasonic lx3 (expensive) and the fuji f20 or f30 series (these are only available used).
