This camera is virtually worthless. The camera has volitile memory which means that if the bettery goes dead all the pictures are gone. If you have to change the battery you MUST plug the camera into a computer via the usb port or all the pictures on the camera will be lost as soon as you remove the batteries to change them. Had we known this we would not have even considered purchasing this for our 6 year old daughter. She has lost all of the pictures from her camping trip with her grandparents.

This camera was extremely difficult to get the battery compartment open. I bought this for my daughter to use for her first time to a large amusement park and could not get the battery compartment opened so she was unable to use it that day which was dissappointing to say the least. I even went and bought a special screwdriver and still couldnt get it opened. You can imagine the results of ! I was very frustrated. Got back from our trip and finally got the thing opened. Thank goodness. The next thing I would say is that trying to get the flash to work and how many times you have to push the on button for different things is really not a good idea. You really need to attach a plastic card to the strap which goes over each feature for quick reference because if an adult finds it difficult imagine what a child thinks.

This product has limited use. Despite being a cute Hello Kitty camera, it is not suitible for children. The construction is a bit flimsy and requires delicate handleing. The battery campartment is difficult to open even for an adult. A special tiny screwdriver is required. Camera uses no memory card. Stores pictures internally. If you do not have a chance to download before the batteries drain, your images are lost. Battery life is really short. There is no lcd disply. I bought the camera to carry along when a larger camera is not practicle, but found that the short battery life and losing my images were not acceptalbe. I would not recommend it for a child. I am disappointed, because I am a huge Hello Kitty fan.
