I have a Nikon D40X that I use for serious photography, but for all other occasions I like this little camera. I can carry it in my bag all the time, it has a great zoom for it's size, and the picture quality is pretty decent.

I love this camera. I got it as a gift from my mom who is a pro photographer. It is easy to use and it takes awesome clear pictures. I have taken it to the mountains for some snowboarding action shots and it made me look like a pro. Great pocket camera with punch. The 10 megapixels give a great image. Easy to use with a mode button that actually makes sense! Perfect to keep with you at times when you wouldn't bother with a bigger camera, but it will do its own BIG job. Would buy again.

My mum just bought me this for chrismas.All i can say is i hate it.The picture quality is extremly poor & pix are very noisy.The video mode is not too bad but has too much whitepoint.I broke the LCD screen on my 5mp cannon ixus50 but would rather use my broken cannon the the fuji finepix j150w.The pix on my cannon are 1000 times clearer than the fuji,so i will probably give the fuji away & save up for a new cannon ixus.I use continuos shooting mode quite a bit & while my cannon lets me take 100's of coninuous pictures the fuji lets me take only 3!! Whats the point of that? The fuju finepix j150w is so bad i won't use it.

I did not like this product. When the auto-flash feature was used, the subjects in the photo looked washed-out. After calling Fuji tech support, I was told to send it in for repair. This was a brand new product and very inconvenient. Also, the capture button was very "touchy". After viewing a picture in the display mode and switching back to camera mode, the camera would take pictures arbitrarily.

Referring to my above con: I find that this camera has a very strong flash indoors, which at close range washes the color out. At close range, it is better to use the SP mode for indoor use, which suppresses the flash, but requires a steady hand. Do not fear this; the image quality in low light is excellent.

All in all it is a good camera, very powerful for it's size, and a great value for the price/

I love the 5x zoom feature on this camera. My old one had a 2x zoom and what a difference this makes. I purchased the 4gb card with this camera, but I think it's overkill. The 1gb card was only $3.99 as opposed to the $29.99 price tag for the 4gb card. The 1gb card holds about 150 pictures which is plenty for me.

This camera works great for most things. We like to take photos of our kids' athletics, however, and the lag time is a little frustrating. You have to anticipate what is going to happen. But the quality is great, once it takes the photo.

I was completely disappointed by the picture quality. The pictures look dull and at times the flash is just too much and turns everthing white. I tested out probably 100 pics and wasn't happy with any of them. Its one extreme or the other- the pics are never just right. I may sound picky but I really think this camera is far from good quality. I will be sending mine back.
