I love this little cutter, it gives me great control through several layers of fabric.

Initially, I did find the cover difficult to remove, but after several uses, no longer find it difficult. It was great for cutting hundreds of squares from 2 1/2 inch strips. My friends laughed at me when I purchased this, but it quickly became one of my favorite quilting tools.

I think the designers need to rethink this cutter. The safety cap is extremely difficult to remove, and there is no easy way to hold the cutter when attempting to remove it. The package has no instructions for removing the cap. So, I was badly cut.

I think the cap should be hinged, or the cutter blade should retract with a button, or something similar.

Don't risk injury.
