I purchased this after our washing machine over flowed and it wet all the computer room's carpet. I was very concerned and decided to buy on of these to keep my computer off the floor. It's done it's job well. I have only one minor complaint, I don't care much for manner in which you have to assemble it. It's a bit awkward. Other than that is sturdy and it keeps my computer off the floor and well insulated from the carpet/static. I also like it because it makes it easy to access, I just pull it toward me very easy thanks to the casters.
