I prefer a desktop, but it turns out I also prefer a laptop's keyboard (if it is full sized). The feedback is perfect, a short travel requires less effort to type - I also find I'm more relaxed. Typing is near silent, and my resting hands position is more natural. I redefined the caps lock as a control key under windows, linux, and OS/X. Liked it so much I bought 2 more (to use at work AND at home)!
