Comments about Kingston Kingston 8GB CompactFlash Elite Pro 133x Memory Card:

I've been using 4 Gb 'microdrives' for about 4 years now...[$]..and lately....I'd seen some slow response from my Canon Rebel....For this price..it was worth it to try......performance has more than doubled from my previous units.....shooting time is excellent.....I'm ready for the next shot in seconds...and in continuous mode, the card more than keeps up. The capacity (I shoot RAW), is very generous. I download to the computer directly from the camera (USB), and the download time is less than 1/2 what it was with the previous drives.Very impressed....price/performance.....excellent.

I finally got a decent size memory card at a reasonable price. Whopping 8 Gigs, holds 800+
photos using 10 MP captures. Now I wont have to worry about a full card, or having to backup my photos so often. Works great, and am very satisified.

Comments about Kingston Kingston 8GB CompactFlash Elite Pro 133x Memory Card:

I shoot in JPeg and Raw and while most cards are able to transfer the images to the memory card with reasonable ease and speed, this one seems to lag behind, in effect tying up the shooting process quite a while.

Comments about Kingston Kingston 8GB CompactFlash Elite Pro 133x Memory Card:

I replaced the same model Kingston 4GB Elite Pro 133x in my new Canon 50D with this product, formatted and away I went. On the second night out, shooting high school football, I snapped 500 jpegs. All were fine except the last 25 or so. Strange effects, overexposure during a continuous burst on every other shot. Several looked like the old-fashioned film thing with double-exposure. Odd. Also those 25 had no EXIF info. I deleted those shots, re-formatted the card, and shot volleyball in the gym next. Same problem, in the middle of 300 shots, about 20 had similar problems with no EXIF info. Also, upon formatting, the camera starts out showing 999 shots, and counts down on each pic. This stopped working on this card on its third use. I'll return it.
