For my taste it actually brews the coffee to fast... not enough time to get the maximum flavor from the coffee. I have discovered that if you leave the lid partly open it slows down the water flow for a better brew. I would suggest some sort of water flow adjustment on future models. Great looking coffee maker. I'll let you know in 10 years if it is good as the old model.
