The 8700 should go into sleep mode when holstered. This is how there is no accidental dialing. I can only assume the flap on the holster was supposed to protect from this. It does not work. Since I have started using this, the phone has dialed 4 times when holstered. There is a magnet but it is at the top of the holster. It should be at the bottom.
