I keep 2 extra batteries charged so I won't lose out on that great shot of the grandkids. And when I'm on vacation, I don't have to worry about having enough battery power to get the pictures I want.

When I take pictures of my nieces and they like to play them back over and over again, the Li-ion battery lasts for a long time. They never are disappointed becasue the battery stops working.
