I'm a VERY-Semi professional. In getting more exposure, I've taken LOTS of photos in a single gig, and my battery would run out before the end of it. It was so nice to have an INexpensive alternative to purchasing an extra battery to have available during the photo gig!

This battery is ready when I need it. I use it for general shots such as my Grandchildern, Hiking,fishing and gereral outsoors. Still have alot to learn, but I due have the right battery.

I purchased this battery as a spare for my Canon G9. It is as good if not better than the battery Canon included with the camera and uses the same charger.
