I needed a light for my video camera, and not having a decent camera store in town where I could demo lighting, I bought this light, partially due to the Sunpack brand, and mainly because it was the best I could find in the area at a "big box" store. It turned out to be a waste of money. I have flashlights that are brighter. It has both a hot spot and a ring. Like the previous reviewer said, the battery is extremely limited.

you get what you pay for with this video light. it does the job if you need extra light for no more than ten minutes. otherwise, it takes forever to charge and the light doesn't last long.
