This camera was bought to replace my Canon 6.1 MP Digital Rebel. I know that is not a good comparison but it is the truth. Anyway this camera has been excellent. Easy to use, tight construction, great pictures. The only quams I had with the camera is redeye. When taking pictures of people and the flash is used REDEYE. When you use redeye reduction you can't get the shot off fast enough. But this is true with all compact cameras where the flash is so close to the lens.

This is a fantastic camera. From the minute I got it out of the box I was able to take photos. The pictures are excellent quality and there are so many different settings. I like the fact that you can choose your favorite settings and they are then defaulted for ease. The color in the photos is great. I used while horseback riding and the IS worked wonderfully. There was no shake at all in the shots.

Would buy this camera again. The on/off button is not in the best place and someone with large hands would have trouble. That is such a minor disadvantage, it would not scare me away. It's a great camera for the size and price. Excellent buy.
