Comments about Tamrac Tamrac Express 6 Camera Bag, 3536 (Black):

I'm fairly new to the Digital SLR world. Just got back from a week touring San Francisco, Monterey and Napa valley areas. Wanted a replacement bag that would hold my Nikon D40 w/18-55 & 55-200 VR lenses and this was perfect. The quick open flap made it easy for me to reach in, grab and shoot. I had extra space for charger and even my Garmin GPS. I could park the car, detach my Garmin, pop it in the bag, take a walk, snap a few pics and move on. Perfect for wandering around crowded areas like say Alcatraz without having to lug a whole backpack setup.Bought this at my local Ritz store. I looked a the "sling" style packs as well and found them bulkier and clumsy. This one is well built, solid, with a really comfortable shoulder strap. Stylish enough for out on the town and durable enough for trekking up Redwood forests in Big Sur. So glad I got this bag and highly recommend it for amateurs like myself who do lots of sports/travel, etc and want it to be simple.

Comments about Tamrac Tamrac Express 6 Camera Bag, 3536 (Black):

I purchased this bag so I could carry an extra lens and some accessories with me. The accessories are a couple of filters (Cokin “P”), lens cleaning kit, flash, extension tube and some misc. items. OK for the reason I purchased the bag I would rate it 5 stars. The carrying strap is nice and long, I’m 6’2” and the bag hangs at waist level. It has good padding, the camera, extra lens and flash are held tight. What I don’t like; The side pocket is useless, except for a pen or two, when the camera is in the bag nothing else will fit in it. The cell phone/MP3 player pocket, what were they thinking when they added this? I think it’s useless, but given time I’ll find something to put in it. Maybe the cleaning kit, or my multi-toolThe width and depth, half an inch each way and this would be a great bag. The cases for the Cokin filters “just” fit in the space where the flash would go. I can fit 4 of them in there with the holder and rings on top of them. They are a pain to get in and out though. There is a pocket on the front flap. I’m going to try putting them in there. I guess I’m just nitpicking, and falling into the trap of trying to do more with the bag than I originally intended. It’s a great [$] investment and I would recommend it

I was looking for a bag that I could easily get my camera in and out of! This is great! Has extra pockets for battery charger, extra memory cards, etc. Padded well to protect your camera!
