The front pocket is equipped with Tamrac's patented Memory and Battery Management System which uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up.
The main compartment features a weather flap and quick-release buckle for security and weather protection. Double zipper pulls provide quick access to photo gear. Inside, foam pillars support the camera with a lens attached and ready for action, while adjustable foam-padded dividers protect other equipment. Two mesh pockets on the side provide quick access to accessories and water bottles. The comfortable, foam-padded backpack harness with sternum strap is contoured to spread the weight of the camera gear across the shoulders. The harness also features Tamrac's Strap Accessory System attachment points for customizing this pack with optional Tamrac S.A.S. products. Two lash tabs on the bottom allow a tripod to be carried (requires accessory straps).

I've entrusted my Nikon D-80 and lenses to this backpack through many of my son's Marching Band competitions in Southern California, many soccer games, Air Force graduation and sight-seeing in San Antonio Texas, business travel in Miami, etc. and this backpack has been very handy. You can safely store the camera and equipment along with other items in the upper backpack area. Very comfortable and easy to carry.

Use this product for hiking and traveling around and to be on the go. Love the design. Can store jacket or a lunch in top compartment. Great Deal and I would recomend to a friend.
