Great bag that holds everything I need for my notebook and camera. The bag is a little heavy but not so much that I will not use on day hikes. I just do not carry my notebook. My tripod easily straps on the side and is no longer cumbersome to carry. Overall, I could not be happier.

As one reviewer noted, it does get HEAVY when loaded with gear and laptop. However, when flying I find in very handy getting through security. I just slip my computer out and put the rest through. It fits well into the overhead space too. I wouldn't go hiking with it, but it is great for storing and moving your gear.

Bag is HEAVY when loaded with just two camera bodies and 3 lenses. Add the laptop and it's almost too heavy to carry. It's protetective and well constructed, but too heavy unless you are not planning on carrying around. If simply putting in the car for transport, it's fine. But if you want to lug it around Manhattan or another destination, forget it.

I was using the backpack while on vacationing and it did come in handy. The only thing is it was difficult to grab your lens at a moments notice. I do enjoy the backpack, but I will usually use it for travel, photoshoots, and sporting events.
