The Go 720 is a very nice GPS unit that I would love to add maritime maps for boating as well. TomTom is a good company to deal with be careful storing as my touch screen cracked. It was my fault as I put in glove compartment without hard cover & one of the children placed something on top of the unit & accidentally cracked the screen. Make sure you store the GPS in a hard protective cover! Don't learn the hard way like me, but I still really like the the Go 720 TomTom GPS unit, though!

I ordered this and it works just as new. I got the 2yr warranty through Ritz and it still only came to about half of a brand new unit. So that took the fear of getting a refurb out of the picture.

One thing to take note is that it is very unlikely that your refurb unit will have the newest maps on it. The guarantee to get the latest map only seems to apply to new purchases. To get the newest map download it is $50-$80 depending on their specials.

This thing acquires Sats quicker than any that i've had experience with. The sound, voice and voice recognition is great. There is occasional choppiness when reading directions, but it is rare.

MP3 playback through the FM transmitter is very nice. The jukebox isn't the most intuitive interface, but i guess you lose some functionality when everything is designed for touch as opposed to point and click.

Overall very pleased with the purchase.

The quality of construction for this model was very good. I did not care for the way that you have to scroull throught the menu in order to get to the different function. The unit was'nt right for me but Iwould still recommend it

I am a computer dummy and I was able to use the Tom Tom very quickly. It is so easy to maneuver and small enough to handle but big enough to see. The only thing I could find wrong with it was the daytime screen was a little hard to see. But not so bad as to pull it down in the rating.
