Comments about Quantaray Quantaray QSR-9550 Tripod:
I got this in October to photograph my sister's wedding. Picked it up from the store, no problem. I'd use it every once in a while for other shoots and it worked ok, but had trouble keeping the neck at a consistent height. The final straw was in late January I went to set it up and found that the one of the feet of the tripod was broken completely off.

I bought this tripod because my other one is so short. I checked them out in store before buying it online. It seemed very heavy duty and easily adjustable, with a great height. When I received this tripod I thought it was going to need to be assembled because one of the feet fell right out of the bag. When I looked closer it was actually broken. When I called to return it I was told that they've had this problem with this specific tripod. [...] If it comes out of the box broken I can't trust it to hold my camera.
