The Versatiel Shoe Mount Multiclamp allows you to attach your on-camera flash to a lightstand and add an umbrella or softbox. The Multiclamp makes it possible to raise and tilt your light - something that is not possible when your flash is mounted directly to a lightstand. Your flash can also be mounted horizontally or vertically and, by using three clamps, two flashes can be mounted together for more lighting power. Moving your flash away from your camera and adding an umbrella or softbox will give you even, diffused light that is flattering to your subjects.

Well made clamp at a reasonable price. HOWEVER it took over 3 months to receive my order! If you need this type of clamp (Strobist Style) in a timely fashion then maybe this isn't for you.

I use this clamp to hold my Nikon SB-800 flash and a shoot through umbrella. The cold shoe looked like it might short things on the flash so I use a Nikon supplied plastic cold shoe between the two. Once mounted it is all very easy to adjust as needed.

didn't even have to read directions. my first time using a mount, and this one works great. was referred to me by a professional, and i can see why. easy to use and sturdy.
