Comments about Ilford Ilford 35mm Black & White Print Film XP2 Plus ISO 400 24 Exposure Film:
I needed a pro film that had greater range and depth than Kodak b&w but which also could be developed at the local lab. (In the former USSR, where I work, no one is able to develop anything other than C41.) Luckily, Ilford XP2 has all these qualities. It does not suffer from too much contrast, like the current Kodak replacement for Tri-X, and it produces subtle tones. And your local drug store can develop it!
