Fuji Velvia is one of the best slide films out there, needless to say. First of all, you never know what you're going to get. Sure, that might seem like a horrifying thing, but once you get your prints back your mouth will drop-- did I actually take this photo? Yes, and you can credit your slide film for the infamous vintage and deviant effects it produces. Of course, some people would argue otherwise. But you have to see for yourself. It gives beginners the inspiration to further their drive, and it gives professionals the exhiliration of trying something less hardcore, and something less than perfect yet altogether sublime. Use it in medium format cameras, or use a homemade cutter for any other format cameras. Ad infinitum, you want this film. It reaches past the point of neck-straining professionalism into a euphoria of brilliant colors. You can even cross-process(xpro) it for more contrast and an even bigger explosion of color. Velvia lets miracles happen.
