I have found often the past is lost because we fail to tell the stories of those who went before us. I love to use these pages and many other Ancestry items to put faces to names and tell the "untold" stories of my family in a tasteful and informative way, before they are lost forever. Pictures I had in a box with no rhyme or reason; I knew the stores but if I didn't tell them, others in my family would never know; it would be lost, undocumentated history. Whether special pages, frames, charts, graphs and dialogue boxes to additional books of other papers I have found that I could make the past come alive as though you were there. It lets us know not only the character and integrity of our family, but it tells their story, how they loved and lived, who we look like, act like and maybe even why we are who we are... It almost makes me an "author" of my families history...so all may know.
